Chakshus
Mechanical / Physical Movement Intelligence

Watch motion, vibration, and posture — through the phone in your hand.

The Chakshus app activates the phone's camera, microphone, and IMU as a portable Physical AI sensor. Point it at a rotating asset and the app classifies vibration patterns; frame an operator and it coaches posture and PPE compliance.

The problem

Today's reality, on the floor.

Mechanical defects announce themselves before they fail — in a wobble, a heat signature, a posture, a tempo. The signals are there; the sensors usually aren't, and when they are, they're stranded in a system nobody on the floor opens. Operators rely on instinct and tenure. Quality teams audit yesterday's output. By the time a problem reaches a screen, it has already reached a customer. The fastest sensor on the line is the supervisor's phone — and it's idle.

The app-based approach

What the phone app does.

Capture a 10-second clip of an assembly cycle and the app benchmarks it against the gold-standard takt. AI inside the app correlates what it sees with maintenance history and suggests the corrective action — adjust, lubricate, escalate, stop. Findings sync to your CMMS or MES-style system of record. No new hardware, no new cabling, no new training cost — the device is the one already in the operator's hand.

Measurable outcomes

What changes after the app is in their hand.

  • [METRIC: e.g., "scrap rate reduced 22%"]
  • [METRIC: e.g., "early-warning lead time of 14 min before stoppage"]
  • [METRIC: e.g., "ergonomic risk events down 41%"]
